Clarification : GST Applicability for Old & New Students

As you might be aware, starting May 2018, GST will be applicable for both Old and New Syllabus students of CA IPCC. For CA Inter Students, The topic will be applicable for 40 Marks and Study Material has already been released for the same. For old syllabus students, entire IDT Part of 50 Marks will now be replaced by GST only. Note that the Study Material that was issued for New CA Inter students is same for old syllabus students too. Note that, as this is the first attempt, Practice Manual is not available and therefore students need to prepare from just the Study Material. Also, at IPCC level, more preference will be given to theory rather than practical questions. Apart from GST, there are no other syllabus changes for Old Syllabus Students.
